Chromalphabet app for iPhone and iPad

The educational application Chromalphabet is aimed at children aged 3+.

Scientific support belongs to Mr.Venieris Nikolaos, speech language pathologist, MSc in Health Sciences Informatics.

It is a scientifically supported methodology about learning alphabet letter names and also color names. Also, Chromalphabet is an education tool for teaching adjective + noun phrases, as a syntactic structure of language.



Description:

The child chooses a letter (lower or upper) and it appears on the canvas. When the child touches the letter on the canvas, the letter name is heard.
Then, the child can select the colour with which the letter will "be painted" by pressing a coloured paint brush from the right. Once the child chooses the coloured paint brush, the color name of the paint brush + the name of the letter, are heard.

Features:

1.Learning alphabet letters: The children learn the alphabet letters in an entertaining way.


2.Learning color names: The children learn the color names by choosing the colored brushes.


3.Learning adjective + noun phrases: Once the child touch the paint brush, the the color name of the paint brush (adjective) + the name of the letter(noun), are heard. In this way, the syntactic structure is acquired more sufficiently.


4.Learning uppercase and lowercase letters: You can choose between uppercase and lowercase letters of the alphabet in both languages, English and Greek.


5.Teach bilingual children both languages: English and Greek
You can teach directly the differences and similarities between the alphabetical systems of both languages, such as pronunciation and writing. Simply, change the selected language of your device.
